Report Indicator

This indicator reports the number of fatal and non-fatal overdoses recorded through the MO-HOPE Overdose Field Report. Data are current for the September, 2019 through February, 2020 time period.

Data Indicators used to populate the Poverty Report have been updated to show the newest American Community Survey five year estimates (2014-2018). Additionally, Living Wage data and Out of Reach data have been updated to the most recent release, 2019.

The data indicator used to populate Living Wage have been updated to show the newest Living Wage calculated data (2019), developed by Dr. Amy K. Glasmeier and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

The data indicators used to populate Housing Affordability data have been updated to show the newest Out of Reach calculated data (2019), developed by the National Low Income Housing Coalition.

The Breastfeeding, Screen Time, Family Meals, Healthy Weight, and Unhealthy Weight indicators have been updated to the most recent 2017 data.

Using the most current U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics release, five year unemployment rate data and maps have been updated to September 2016 – September 2020.

New maps and data now are available for this indicator from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Hospital Compare dataset. Data have been updated for the 2016-2018 reporting period, replacing data for 2013-2016.

Using the most current U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics release, one month current unemployment data and maps have been updated to September 2020.

An update is available for data about youth hospitalizations for mental & behavioral health conditions in the reporting platform! Data are obtained from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) Inpatient Hospitalization MICA data platform.
